Milwaukee County House of Corrections specialty trained four legged officers will show off their skills at the Great Lakes Pet Expo in Milwaukee, WI on Saturday, February 4, 2017. Specially trained canines help ensure a safe environment for our citizens. The K-9 teams of the Milwaukee County House of Corrections each have a specialty that helps them excel at their job. These dogs are trained in narcotics, tracking, apprehension and more. The Great Lakes Pet Expo features an outstanding demonstration showcasing the officers’ handling skills and they train/interact with the K-9’s. Be sure to visit the Main Stage the officers demonstrate the training and tactics necessary to perform their duties.
